 Malay name: Kacip Fatimah

Facts:

Flowering plant in the family Primulaceae native to Malaysia. It is a small, woody and leafy plant with leaves of 20/cm (7.9/in) in length, and grows widely in the shade of the tropical forest floor.

Medical Uses: 

 1. Relieve the baby’s discomfort abdomen ( paste from the leaves and coconut oil)

2. Induce and eases delivery in childbirth

3. Postpartum medication ( regain body strength, regulate the menstrual cycle, avoid painful, alleviate menopause symptoms)

4. Dysentery

5. Rheumatism

6. Gonorrhoea

      Scientific name: Hibiscus sabdariffa Facts:  • Belongs to the family of Malvaceae which is originated from West Africa • Widely cultivated in Tropical Africa, Sudan, Egypt, Ethiopia, Mali, Nigeria, Chad, India, Indonesia, Phillippines, Malaysia, Brazil, Australia, Mexico, Hawai and Florida USA.  • Habitat of the herb is disturbed ground.
